Tale As Old As Time...

Beauty And The Beast...~

Ahaha.
So I've been asked to play in the orchestra for the school's musical.
This year, it's 'Beauty and the Beast'.
I suppose it's a step up from 'The Sound of Music' last year. XD

I love the music, though. =3=
Always loved the film when I was younger, and the song 'If I Can't Love Her' I heard when I was about eleven.
It's so sweet!

Ahh, I can't wait for it.
Disney has amazing films and songs.

Meow!

I Have A Tail~?

Soo.
I felt like saying something.

Had another good week, thoroughly enjoyed myself. Managed to miss school again on Wednesday, bought myself a 'faux' fox tail! ;D
Courtesy of my best friend who discovered them.
I turned up to my latest band concert wearing it. XD
The flutes were highly amused.
A certain percussionist was not.
MUAHA.

So, still looking for things for the expo. Wearing my lovely dress I bought a year and a half ago from http://www.tokyotoys.com/. Sadly, my dress is the only one they now sell - I dread seeing other people wearing it in two weeks' time.
But still!
I'm getting cat ears, a parasol and fan, and I already have some nice shoooes. ;D

I got my boots!
My amaaazing Irregular Choice cat boots. Mother bought me them with a twenty-five percent discount.

Made my day. =3=

Mm. They're amaaazing.

Let's Stay Together,

Itsumo~?

So I've been searching for a really nice flute piece.
Auditions for the school's charity 'Variety Show' are tomorrow.
And I wanna participate for my 7th and last time.

But I have nothing to play! ;~;

I'm planning on so far, For Fruits Basket or Chiisana Inori by Ritsuko Okazaki.
Or, perhaps Sakura Kiss by Chieko Kawabe.
Scouring the internet the night before for a piece is not smart. o.o;;

I would LOVE to be able to do Byakuya~True Light~ by Shunichi Miyamoto, but it's too difficult a key to learn on short notice ;~;

No worries. I'll work something...

>3<''

There's a picture of Kyoya.
Because Sakura Kiss is from Ouran High School Host Club, right?
And I like Kyoya.
Therefore the connection is important.
Mmhm.

;D!

Music Life

Notes and Sounds~!

So yes. I love music.
Mostly, I listen to Japanese Pop and Rock. I do like some Visual and Oshare Kei, but not the really heavy side.
Chinese and Korean Pop are also so amazing.
My favourites in J-Pop are probably Shunichi Miyamoto, Aya Hirano and Yoko Ishida. J-Rock would be FLOW, Porno Graffitti and L'Arc~en~Ciel.
I adoreee Show Luo and JJ Lin, as well as Korean boy bands Super Junior and FT Island!

I've been listening to a lot of Seiyuus recently, my favourites being Daisuke Ono (Itsuki Koizumi/Sebastian Michaelis), Daisuke Namikawa (Fye/Italy) and Noriaki Sugiyama (Itachi Uchiha/England/William T Spears).

The music from Hetalia is totally infectious! Marukaite Chikyuu and Hatta Futte Parade are just addictive. I love the character albums, particularly England's.

I also recently rekindled my love of Buono! The girl-trio J-Pop group :D
They're really amazing! My favourites by them must be Rottara Rottara!, Our Songs and My Boy.

Expos and Camden!

Looking Forward~!

Well, I'm now looking forward to October more than ever!
I've been watching Hetalia so much lately that I can't wait to get to London and buy me some stash from the Expo O:
If I see an England, Austria or America cosplayer...they're going to get raped.
Camden will be amazing! Going to the Lolita shops with Becca will be soso much fun!

I may not be getting my dress, so I must just snazz up my old outfit with some gloves, a nice lacy parasol...cat ears?
Yeaahh.

October 29th - 31st is when we'll be there. Camden the day we get there, Expo saturday.
ZOMG.
Stephenie Sheh will be there!
Voice of Tabby from .hack//, Mikuru Asahina from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya!
I bloody hope I get to meet her D: I would love it so much to meet a voice actor I love.
Mikuru Might not be one of my favourite characters, but I love Stephenie Sheh! -flail-

It's going to be absolutely amazing.

Late Night Rambling.

October is Expo Time~!

So, I'm bored. So I'll update again!

I'm getting excited.

I'm going to my first Expo at the end of October.
I've loved anime for so many years, but living on the other side of the country to where the Expo is (London), it's damn near impossible for someone with no money like me to go.

Of course, this year, it's my 18th birthday.
And I get it as my present. >3<

I aboslutely can't wait; I'm going with my best friend Becca, and we're going in fabulous Gothic and Sweet Lolita.
I can't wait to be there, at the expo, mingling with cosplayers, buying shtoof and hanging out in a hotel room talking crap and going hyper.

We also plan on going to Camden Lock to check out the amazing shops they'll have there. It'll be so much fun!
It's something definitely worth missing school for. >)

I'd love a dress like this:

Or somethng really frilly, with bows and patterns!
I want something in either blue or pink >3<
Something really cute!

Awh, if I were cosplaying (which will be next year!) I'd be Ciel Phantomhive or Arthur Kirkland. They have amazing outfits!! x3!

Marukaite Chikyuu...

Axis Powers~!

Yes, I'm another Hetalia fan.
I just love it!
I love the humour, the characters, the style, the music, the narrative, everything. =3=
I was thinking about it a lot in art today, looking for characters with glasses.
Oooh, moe.

My favourite characters in APH are:
*
England
*America
*Japan
*France
*Italy
*S.Italy

Prussia scares me a lot.
He's a craaazy bitch.

Aside from the Hetalia fangirling (England is like ACE!) and obsessing over glasses (OMG AMERICA), I had another pretty dull day.

Angela Carter is not right! I don't like her stories. They're weird.
Media was dull, writing about Mikuru Asahina and Motoko Kusanagi.

>3<
I've been pratising my flute a little to be a good girl.
But I'm not doing the Grade 8 shiz. Noway.

So I'm teaching myself 'Monochrome no Kiss' by SID.
And hopefully 'Michishirube' by Shunichi Miyamoto.
The key is difficult!

Anyway. Enough rambling!
